Outwood Colliery (ruin)

The site of the old Outwood Colliery and sidings attached to the Clifton, Accrington and Colne railway.

There are huge chunks of waste from the colliery and much of the high ground that rises from the river side seems to be made-ground.

Outwood Colliery stood on the site of the older Clough Side Colliery.
