Abbey Village by munki-boy
Abbey Village
A small village of mostly former cotton mill cottages that were built to house workers from the old Abbey Mill. The name Abbey Village is said not to relate to an old abbey in the vicinity; rather to the position of the village being on an important route to Whalley Abbey.
