Thurrock is a borough in Essex, England. It is located on the north bank of the Thames Estuary, and covers an area of 33 square miles.
Thurrock has a rich history, dating back to Roman times. The borough was once known as ‘the place where ships are built’, and was home to a number of shipyards during the 19th century. Thurrock is now a major commercial and industrial center, with a strong focus on logistics and transport.
