Sale Water Park

Sale Water Park is a 62 hectare green-space which incorporates a large lake which was formed with the construction of the M60 motorway.

Sale Water Park is also home to the Broad Ees Dole Local Nature Reserve which is an important wildlife haven and a Grade-A Site of Biological Importance (SBI).

The area around Sale Water Park also acts as an “Ees” and is an important flood defence protecting the towns of Sale, Chorlton and Stretford, as well as the A56, Metrolink and Bridgewater Canal.
