Rutland Water is a large reservoir that was constructedin the 1970s in Rutland, England.

It is filled by pumping water from the River Nene and River Welland, rather than by a traditional catchment and provides water to the East Midlands region of England.

Rutland Water is also a popular recreation spot, with activities such as fishing, boating, and birdwatching.
