Pugneys Country Park in southeast Wakefield, is based around the River Calder and several lakes and ponds which are used for a variety of activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing.

The park also has a number of walks and trails which are perfect for exploring the local area. The centre also offers a range of training courses for those interested in taking up watersports.
