Yellow Winged Darter
Latin name: Sympetrum flaveolum
The Yellow Winged Darter dragonfly is said to be an infrequent migrant from mainland Europe but many are seen in certain years.
The translucent wing membrane is coloured yellow close to the body, making the Yellow Winged Darter fairly easy to identify.
