Keeled Skimmer
Latin name: Orthetrum coerulescens
The Keeled Skimmer is said to be common further south in Europe and is found in the west of Britain. The Keeled Skimmer lives on bog type wetland such as our local peat mosses. The male is blue but the female is yellow with gold tinted areas on the wings.
