The Cucumber Green Orb Spider is a small green or yellowish-green spider with a red mark under the abdomen.

The females are larger than males. Females grow up to 8 mm and males up to 5 mm.

The Cucumber Green Orb spiderlings, are red when freshly hatched and change to brown before the autumn.

The adult spiders can be found from May to July. Some females can last as late as September.
