Sgwd yr Eira waterfall by munki-boy
Sgwd Yr Eira
Sgwd Yr Eira is in Brecon Beacons National Park in The Wales.
An excellent waterfall that is located in a steep rocky ravine accessible via a lot of steps. The waterfall has the added bonus of a path going behind the water, although visitors are warned of the danger of falling rocks and are advised ‘not to linger’.
The footpath leading to the foot of the falls is quite degraded and in some places blocked by large rocks that can be passed but the area terrain is hazardous and slippy underfoot. The path behind the waterfall itself is over bare rock that is wet and you will get wet and so will your camera.
